Overview

WithoutWire Version 12.0 introduces new out of the box integration with Sage 100 for inventory transactions. Additionally, V12.0 continues to build upon our inventory management system by expanding on reporting capabilities, API’s, improving inbound and outbound operations, as well as other performance improvements and bug fixes.  

Key Features

  • ERP Integration: Introducing out-of-the-box integration with Sage 100, including synchronizations with Items, Customers, Vendors, Purchase Orders, Sales Orders, Inventory Adjustments, and Transfers. 
  • Receiving – Default Put Away Quantity: This new configuration lets you control the default transaction quantity in mobile put away operations. 
  • Receiving – Suggested Put Away Destinations: This new configuration enables users to configure default put away locations on the mobile, including options to direct users to primary bins or bins in primary zones, empty bins, or bins already containing inventory for the item. Configuration options include: Primary Only, Empty Only, Primary or Not Empty, Primary or Empty. 
  • Outbound Operations – Sales Order Allocations: This enhancement to Sales Order functionality allows available inventory to be automatically and/or manually allocated to orders when orders are imported or when assigned for picking. 
  • Outbound Operations – Inventory Allocations: Adds the ability to automatically or manually de-allocate any leftover inventory when an order is shipped. 
  • Outbound Operations – Allow Picking Unassigned Orders via Scan: When enabled, this new configuration allows users to scan an order or tracking number to begin picking, even if the order is unassigned. 
  • Outbound Operations – Allow Requesting Additional Orders from Pick Tile: When enabled, this new configuration allows the picking user to use a new option on the mobile Pick tile to assign the next unassigned order to themselves for picking. 
  • Inventory Operations – Enable Enhanced Main Screen Inventory Lookup: When enabled, this new configuration allows the user to easily see total quantities across all locations with breakdowns for available and on-hold quantities when using the Main Screen Scan on mobile. 
  • Inventory Operations – Use Bulk Import for Inventory CSV Upload: This new configuration enables bulk data process that bypasses detailed field validation to greatly improve performance when adding a large number of records. 
  • Reporting: V12.0 comes with a new improved set of core Power BI reports – Inventory Overview, Inbound Insights, Outbound Insights, Inventory Counts, User Performance – providing additional business intelligence that is sure to please! 
  • Reporting – Miscellaneous Settings > Power BI Default Report: This new setting lets users choose the report that loads as the default on the Web Console home page. 
  • Allocation Information & Filtering: This addition provides additional allocation information and filtering to Inbound and Outbound consoles as well as PO and Order Details web pages. 
  • Integration APIs: Several additions to the integration APIs have been implemented for better optimized data retrieval, including:

System Performance

  • Improved system performance when processing items with large on-hand inventory quantities in mobile Put Away, Directed Put Away, Request Inventory and Inventory Operations. 
  • Improved performance of Web Console License Plate/Hold Maintenance page. 
  • Put Away Tile Modification: This change allows the “Enforce Put Away Destination” configuration to be used in the same way as Directed Put Away. 
  • Adjusted several system error messages for improved clarity.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed an issue with the configuration “Allow Re-opening of Orders from the Ship Tile” that could prevent re-opened orders from being processed. 
  • Fixed a bug that sometimes caused newly uploaded Power BI dashboards from being properly connected to live data. 
  • Fixed the placement of some configurations on the Web Console Configuration Settings page. 
  • Fixed an issue that prevented the Skip Shipping Carrier/Method configurations from working properly under certain conditions. 
  • Fixed a bug with shorting an order line after overpicking. 
  • Fixed an issue with multi-item moves in the mobile Directed Put Away tile. 
  • Fixed a bug in mobile Inventory Adjustment when adjusting lot/serial tracked items in non-base units of measure. 
  • Fixed an issue with Web Console UI when approving a cycle count containing allocated items but with no quantity variance. 
  • Fixed an issue with unnecessarily repeated pick record data in order export JSON.
