Labor Tracking
We’re excited to introduce a new Labor Time Tracking feature that enhances visibility into user activity during manufacturing processes. This update brings greater control and insight across mobile, web, and API interfaces.
Mobile App Changes
- New Track Time tile added to the mobile app for logging time spent on manufacturing jobs.
- Users can start/stop tracking their own time; authorized users can also manage time tracking for others.
- Scan-enabled workflow for selecting manufacturing jobs and users using badge/identifier.
- Role-based access and permissions for self-only, team-level, or admin-level visibility and control.
Web Console Changes
- New Manufacturing Insights dashboard available via Power BI, displaying labor totals and key filters (e.g., MO Number, Status).
- Mfg Details page now shows total labor time logged and offers the ability to close jobs without producing inventory.
- Shift Maintenance page allows for setting Shift start & end times, enabling configurable automatic closing of open time entries after user shifts end
- Users now support an Alternate Identifier (e.g., badge ID) for flexible time tracking access. Use of this field will be expanded in future updates.
- Added configuration options for:
- Controlling access level for time tracking features.
- Allowing/disallowing time tracking across multiple activities simultaneously.
- Automatically closing open time entries
API Improvements
- New and enhanced APIs for:

- On-Demand Power BI Report Updates
Users can now update stock Power BI reports to the latest version from the Dashboard Maintenance page in the Web Console.

Orders deleted from the Web Console will now automatically deallocate inventory (when auto-allocation is enabled and the allocation set matches the order number).

A new ExternalReference field has been added to the bill of materials import/export process:
- Available at both the header level (finished good) and line level (components).
- Enables tracking of external ERP record IDs to better support integrations.
- The PO Details page now displays the ordered unit of measure for improved clarity during purchasing review.
- Added the ability to manually close a manufacturing job (regardless of status) from the MFG Details page.
- Consolidated the various report buttons on the Pick Request/Return Details page to improve usability
